Summary
Gilles de Rais was a French nobleman and former comrade-in-arms to Joan of Arc during the Hundred Years War. Although he was later executed for multiple murders, sodomy, and heresy, he continues to accompany Joan into battle even after death. During the conflict at the fortress stronghold, Gilles engaged in a fight to the death against the Drifters, nearly overwhelming their forces through sheer strength and tenacity.
