Summary

Akira Yamamoto is a nineteen-year-old Ensign born in Arcadia City on Mars. Serving as a Purser in the accounting division of the Yamato, she harbors a strong desire to join the ship's fighter wing. Although she initially applied for the flying corps alongside her older brother and was consequently assigned to the accounting office, her distinguished degree in technology set her apart as the only female with such credentials in the flying corps. Her exceptional talent was eventually recognized by Kodai, a revelation that led to her permanent transfer to the fighter wing. This character represents the first gender-change in the cast, as the original counterpart was male.
