Noda, Takeshi
Summary
Takeshi Noda is a remarkably quiet character who is rarely addressed by name, with other characters only calling him out in four specific episodes of the anime, though his role is significantly more prominent in the manga. He is best known for his signature hat and long hair, and he typically sits in the front of the class, mostly engaging in conversation only with Yoichi Minami. He maintains a close friendship with Shin, Uchi, Kuma, and Minami. In the manga, Noda is the first to recognize Shin’s crush on Yankumi, whom he is the one to nickname. His sister briefly dates Minoru, and Noda himself was once accused of being a purse snatcher, requiring Yankumi to act as a decoy to prove his innocence. Although he is one of the smarter boys in Yankumi’s class, he still pales in comparison to Shin.
