Summary
Chris Takigawa is an 18 or 19-year-old right-handed catcher who bats right and makes his debut in Chapter 18 and Episode 7. As a third-year student at Seidou High School, he serves on the baseball team. A previous shoulder injury forced him to take a year off for rehabilitation, causing him to lose his spot as the starting catcher. Despite this, the coach retained him on the roster as a manager to help guide the team. Chris projects a gloomy aura that intimidates the first-year players, who view him as difficult to work with. It has been revealed that his intense nature has driven many pitchers to quit. However, he possesses a strong will and remains determined not to give up on baseball as long as any hope remains.
