Summary
Mikiya Awakusu is the son of Dougen and currently holds the title of Young Head of Awakusu-kai. Despite being Dougen’s second son, he serves as the de facto first successor because his elder brother chose a non-yakuza career path. In an era where hereditary leadership within yakuza groups is becoming uncommon, Mikiya is keen on following in his father’s footsteps. However, lacking independent achievements, rival organizations view him as the "weakest link" in Awakusu-kai. Although Shiki remains loyal to him for now, Mikiya faces resentment within his own organization from members like Aozaki, who doubt his qualifications to succeed Dougen as the head of Awakusu-kai.
