Obana, Danjirou
Summary
Danjirou Obana was a male Shinigami with light-brown hair and brown eyes who served as the inaugural captain of the 5th Division more than 1,000 years ago. As one of the founding captains of the Gotei 13, he possessed immense spiritual energy, a power he displayed by effortlessly defeating and slaying numerous Quincy warriors during their first invasion of Soul Society. Yhwach described Danjirou as infamous for being a brutal and cold-blooded killer, a reputation earned when he massacred the Quincy of the Lichtreich upon their initial attack. His prowess extended to Zanjutsu, where he could deliver powerful, swift slashes that precisely dismembered his opponents. His Zanpakuto appeared in its sealed form as a katana featuring a blue handle and a blue scabbard. The golden, rectangular tsuba was decorated with a curling design on the flat side and featured a small spike jutting outward on each long edge. Neither his Shikai nor his Bankai has been revealed, and no seiyuu has been cast for the character.
