First appearing as a deity of matrimony in the opening episode, Higuchi Seitarou is a character whose full name is revealed in episode four but who is primarily known simply as Master. He presents himself as an eighth-year university student residing in the same dormitory as the protagonist. Dressed consistently in a yukata, he carries a wise, detached, and nonchalant demeanor. Although he frequently provides direct assistance to the protagonist, this help is often subtle enough that the protagonist remains unaware of his support.
