Synopsis

"The Tatami Galaxy Specials" follows university student Seitarou Higuchi and his companions—Akashi, Ozu, and Ryouko Hanuki—as they exchange fanciful stories about a submarine that can travel through solid ground. Every narrative strives to surpass the last in inventiveness, spanning from a mission to prevent the polar ice caps from melting to an effort to stop voyeurs. Even the strangest subjects are acceptable, such as a routine fishing excursion.
