Summary
Sayo traveled alongside Tatsumi and Ieyasu with the goal of earning money for their village. During their journey, they were ambushed by night bandits, which caused the group to separate. Sayo remained with Ieyasu while Tatsumi was lost to them. The pair was subsequently invited to Aria’s mansion, where they were served a drugged meal that rendered them unconscious. Sayo endured torture until she died, but she never submitted to Aria or her sadistic family. Tatsumi later killed Aria after learning the truth about her family’s cruelty. It is suggested that Tatsumi loved Sayo, as Zank’s illusion revealed her to be the most important person in his world. Sayo is depicted carrying a bow and arrows, indicating she was a skilled and well-trained archer. Tatsumi noted that both she and Ieyasu were strong, highlighting her combat abilities.
