Fuji serves as Kumiko’s long-time canine companion and acts as the narrator for the previews of subsequent episodes. He demonstrates unwavering loyalty toward Kumiko. Throughout the anime, Fuji speaks frequently, although his words are inaudible to other characters. Notably, Shin appears to possess the unique ability to understand Fuji’s thoughts.
