Summary
Before becoming a hero, Shirou Kazami was a biochemistry major in college. His peaceful life shattered when he witnessed an agent from the Destron organization murder a man. After rescuing the intended victim and hiding her at his residence, Kazami’s family was executed to silence the witnesses, though he survived due to the timely intervention of Kamen Rider 1 and Kamen Rider 2. Consumed by grief and a desire for vengeance against Destron, Kazami pleaded with the Riders to transform him into a cyborg, but they initially declined. The situation changed when the Riders were captured inside the enemy’s headquarters. Kazami rushed to their aid, sustaining fatal injuries during the rescue attempt. With no other option remaining, the Riders finally agreed to his request, modifying him into a cyborg and bestowing upon him the title of Kamen Rider V3.
