Summary
Kazuichi Inamine serves as the commander of the Library Defense Forces, directly overseeing the Kantō Library Base and playing a significant role in the long-standing conflict between the Media Betterment Committee and the Library Defense Force from the very beginning. The story reveals that two decades before the main events, a major clash took place at a library in Hino, Tokyo, when a group supporting the Media Betterment Act raided the facility. Inamine found himself caught in the midst of this battle, resulting in the tragic loss of his wife and his right leg.
