Summary

Ochako Uraraka is a fifteen-year-old student at U.A. with a birthday on December 27 and blood type B. Standing at 156 cm, she possesses the Zero Gravity Quirk, which enables her to render any object she touches with her fingertips weightless, though overuse of this power induces severe nausea. She comes from a family of construction workers who struggle financially due to a lack of market demand, a circumstance that drives her ambition to become a hero for the money so she can provide her parents with an easier life. Ochako is Izuku’s best friend and one of the few who calls him "Deku" out of genuine affection, noting that the name conveys a spirit of perseverance. She later adopts the honorific "-kun" for him, a gesture that helps Izuku finally accept the nickname. Their bond began before the Yuuei entrance exam when she prevented him from falling after he tripped, an act that sparked a massive crush in Izuku, causing him to blush and stammer around her. He eventually returned the favor by saving her during the exam, and Yuuga observed that despite her denials, Ochako reciprocates Izuku’s feelings.
