Summary
Melmo receives a magical bottle of candy from God that alters her physical form based on its color. Consuming the blue candy transforms her into a stunning nineteen-year-old version of herself, whereas the red candy reverts her to her original child state. If both colors are combined, she undergoes a bizarre regression, first turning into a fetus and then shifting into a random animal of her choosing. This magical aging process creates a recurring wardrobe dilemma; as she shifts between being nine and nineteen, her clothes do not adjust to her size, leaving her either in tattered garments or squeezed into ill-fitting children's attire while in her adult form. Personality-wise, Melmo is a kind-hearted girl who often struggles with the disconnect between her chronological age and the desires or experiences she encounters as her older self. In her nineteen-year-old form, she is exceptionally beautiful, frequently causing men to fall deeply in love with her.
