Rou, Ensei
Summary
Ensei was discovered unconscious by Shuurei near her doorstep, having collapsed from the intense summer heat. She brought him inside and offered him a meal. Upon returning home, Seiran immediately recognized Ensei, addressing him as "The Little Whirlwind." Although they appear to be old acquaintances, likely from Seiran’s days in Brown Province, Seiran harbors a distinct dislike for his presence despite their seemingly friendly rapport. During Seiran’s absence to fight bandits, he tasked Ensei with serving as Shuurei’s temporary bodyguard. Additionally, Kijin appointed Ensei as the temporary administrator for the Department of Treasury and Taxation. Seiran eventually discovered that Ensei had been personally defending against thieves from Brown Province every night. Ensei is marked by a cross-shaped scar located beneath his left eye.
