Summary
Kourin serves as the second attendant to Shuurei within the palace. Her history is marked by tragedy, having been found collapsed near Taiho Sa’s residence eight years prior due to the devastation of war, leading him to adopt her. She harbors deep devotion for Taiho Sa, a loyalty so intense that she attempted to assassinate Shuurei with poison and prepared to sacrifice her own life by ingesting the toxin for his sake. Following his death, she was taken in by Taiho Sa’s wife and allowed to reside with her. Later, she journeyed back to the capital alongside Ensei to relay crucial intelligence regarding the circumstances in Sa Province.
