Summary
Dren served as Char Aznable’s second-in-command during the initial assault on Side 7. He stayed by Char’s side throughout the pursuit of the White Base to Earth. His service continued under Char until Garma Zabi’s death, after which Char was reassigned to Zeon’s forces in Belfast. Dren returned to space to command the Camel Squadron. When the White Base came back to space to join the upcoming conflict, Char countered their presence by deploying Dren’s patrol squadron against them. In the ensuing battle, the RX-78 Gundam sliced through Dren’s Musai with its beam saber, creating a large breach that caused him to be sucked into the vacuum of space, resulting in his death.
