Summary
Gwess serves as Jolyne Cujoh’s cellmate during Part VI: Stone Ocean. Although she initially appears as a minor antagonist, her demeanor shifts to a neutral, friendly stance after Jolyne defeats her. At first glance, Gwess projects an image of sweetness and kindness, evidenced by her habit of giving treats to and conversing with a "pet" she owns. However, this gentle facade crumbles into madness if the pet refuses her offerings, revealing a volatile personality capable of killing for amusement. While she is unafraid to deceive others, she is fundamentally a coward. Unaware of the existence of Stands, Gwess withdraws from any further conflicts following her clash with Jolyne. Instead, she resigns herself to reading magazines and acting subserviently toward her roommate. During the time Jolyne is trapped under the influence of Miu Miu's Jail House Rock, Gwess becomes remarkably timid and speaks very little.
