Summary
Kakeru Manabe makes his debut in Chapter 49 of the manga, Volume 9. He presents himself as an outgoing and cheerful young man who maintains a somewhat lazy demeanor throughout the series. Serving as Vice President of the student council at Kaibara High School, he holds the title of second-in-command for the school's Defense Force. Manabe approaches his duties with the enthusiasm of a Super Sentai team member, frequently referring to himself as Black, akin to the Black Goranger, while designating Yuki as Red, the leader. He shares significant personality traits with Ayame Souma, whom he immediately embraced upon meeting, declaring him the ideal commander for the Defense Force. Yuki likens him to her older brother and notes his talent for making friends, similar to Kyou.
