Summary
Koushuu Okumura is a sixteen-year-old student originally from Kanagawa, with a birthday on February 20. He previously attended Daikyou Senior before transferring to his current school, Seidou High School. Possessing a quiet and intensely serious demeanor, he harbors a strong aversion to boisterous behavior, a trait rooted in his middle school experiences with his coach. He holds the rigid belief that one cannot play baseball with true seriousness while simultaneously enjoying the sport. It is this desire to test his own limits and determine if enjoyment and dedication can coexist that led him to enroll at Seidou. Despite his reserved nature, Okumura is remarkably outspoken regarding matters he cares about. He frequently critiques the performances of Seidou’s pitchers and is unafraid to engage in direct confrontations, such as when he reprimanded Sawamura for being too loud in the dining hall.
