Summary
Konaki Jijii is a comedic and absent-minded old yōkai man who battles foes by latching onto them and petrifying his body to drastically increase his weight, effectively pinning the opponent to the ground. He frequently teams up with Sunakake Babaa. This character is based on a traditional legend of a ghost that haunts the forests of Tokushima Prefecture, manifesting as a crying infant. When a traveler picks up the child, the spirit becomes incredibly heavy, eventually crushing the victim under its immense weight.
