Summary

Hayato serves as the second pilot of Getter Robo, characterized as a psychopathic yet highly intelligent delinquent. He initially appears as the leader of a student revolutionary group before being captured by the Saotome Research Institute following a conflict with Ryoma, which pulls him into the Getter Robo narrative as the pilot of Getter-2. He is the sole character to appear in every iteration of the series, occupying diverse roles ranging from a regular teenager to an adult colonel and an aging scientist.
