Synopsis

Continues the story of Robot Girls Z

Robot Girls Z centers on Team Z, a squad of "Toei robot girls" derived from characters in the Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, and UFO Robot Grendizer series. Their primary objective is to advance Photon Power, a revolutionary energy source for the future, by carrying out various activities in Tokyo's Nerima district. Yet, their plans are frequently thwarted by the Mechanical Beast girls hailing from the Subterranean Empire, who seek to steal this energy. Consequently, Team Z often ends up in battles with these foes, though they sometimes engage in fights merely to blow off steam.

Robot Girls Z+ is a new installment in the Robot Girls Z series, presenting six monthly shorts that will debut in the upcoming spring season. The returning Team Z cast is joined by members of the recently formed Team G, Team LOD, Team Gou, and characters from the franchise's online game. The storyline for these shorts is based on two classic Toei Manga Matsuri films: Great Mazinger vs. Getter Robo and Great Mazinger vs. Getter Robo G - Sky Clash.
