Summary
Holland Novak leads the Gekkostate and serves as the captain of the Gekko, while also piloting the LFO Terminus typeR909. Contrary to the composed image projected in ray=out magazine, he often loses his temper when situations deteriorate or when he encounters insubordination. This volatile nature has led him to imprison Renton in the brig for operating the Nirvash without authorization and to physically assault him for particularly aggravating offenses. His actions are largely driven by a deep concern for Eureka’s depression, which fuels an illogical hostility toward Renton. Although his relationship with Talho helps keep his behavior in check, their bond sometimes suffers during his outbursts. While Holland genuinely loves Talho, he struggles to respond appropriately, particularly to her fears that his unwavering dedication to protecting Eureka means he prioritizes her over Talho. Additionally, he is haunted by memories of his violent past, which occasionally causes him to lash out.
