Seychelles, officially the Republic of Seychelles with its capital in Victoria, is a main protagonist in the Gakuen Hetalia game and a recurring figure in the anime and manga. Born on June 29th, her national flower is the Tropicbird Orchid. Visually, she typically features dark brown hair and eyes, though earlier artwork depicted her with black hair and blue eyes. Her skin tone varies from tanned to fair depending on the medium, with manga illustrations often showing her tanned while the Gakuen Hetalia release and anime adaptation give her fair skin. Raised by France, she has complex relationships with both him and England. France, one of her love interests, is observed visiting her frequently, but she finds his attempts to touch or undress her disgusting, as he claims he wants to see how her body has developed. England, the student council president and her other love interest, turned her into a colony and slave upon first meeting her, even forcing her to wear a dog collar. She struggles with her feelings for both men, though she holds a grudge against England for his past treatment of her.
