Summary

Sumire Ryuzaki serves as both a mathematics teacher and the coach for the Seigaku tennis club, where she holds responsibility for the third-year students. She is the grandmother of Sakuno Echizen and played a pivotal role in developing the skills of Nanjiro Echizen. Known for her loud demeanor, she is nonetheless regarded as a highly reliable and excellent coach who maintains strong bonds with her team. Her personal interests include baking cakes and horse riding, and she favors YONEX shoes, specifically the 201 (SHT-201) model, while often using rackets belonging to club members close to her. Outside of her duties, she engages in recreational activities with her regulars, such as bowling reunions and beach volleyball mini-tournaments against Rokkaku Middle School. Additionally, she shares a rivalry with her former mentor, Mikiya Banda, also known as Banji, who coaches the Yamabuki team.
