Ubiquitous, Seryuu
Summary
Seryuu is a mid-twenties woman with Type A blood who serves in the Jaegers, having previously held a position within the Imperial Guard. Her worldview is defined by an intense obsession with "Justice," a concept deeply rooted in her father’s service to the Imperial Army and his subsequent death. She also harbored deep respect for Ogre the Demon, her superior and mentor, and was profoundly devastated by his demise. Seryuu holds a rigid and blunt perspective on morality, viewing the Night Raid as inherently evil due to their role as assassins. Conversely, she maintains that killing in the name of justice is always righteous, effectively equating her own actions with those of her enemies. This twisted sense of right and wrong reflects a strict moral absolutism, where the world is divided into stark black and white categories. To her, anyone serving the Empire is considered good, regardless of their secret or public deeds, while those who oppose the Empire, even if coerced, are pure evil. This extreme viewpoint has fostered significant distrust among her teammates and the broader imperial forces, particularly after she brutally executed a group of prisoners before they could be interrogated.
