Summary
Ren Amaki is a sixteen-year-old who serves as the Sword Hero, one of the four holy heroes summoned to Melromarc. He hails from an Alternative Japan where technology is highly advanced and futuristic, with modern gaming dominated by VRMMO platforms. His past life ended during a well-known local murder case; while saving his best friend, he was stabbed in the side and ultimately succumbed to blood loss. Upon waking, Ren realized he had been transported to a world strikingly similar to Brave Star Online, the VRMMO he played in his previous life. Despite his traumatic past, Ren cultivates a cool, loner persona. He manages his party with a guild-like efficiency, choosing to collaborate only when a target is too powerful to defeat solo.
