Oozora, Koudai
Summary
Koudai Oozora is the father of Tsubasa Oozora and the husband of Natsuko Ozora. Working as a Sea captain, he spends the majority of his time away from home, leaving the boys to be raised primarily by their mother. Daichi was born after Tsubasa departed Japan. Koudai shares a close friendship with Roberto Hongo, having once intervened to prevent the man from attempting suicide. Demonstrating his deep care for Roberto, Captain Oozora recommended he consult a renowned Ophthalmologist located in Nankatsu. As a gesture of gratitude for Koudai’s assistance and for allowing Roberto to stay as a guest in the Oozora residence, Roberto became a mentor and teacher to Tsubasa. In this role, Roberto helped the young boy develop and refine his natural football talents, teaching him the essential basics required to become a future professional player.
