Summary
Saizou Sakahone was the inaugural captain of the 13th Division, serving over 1,000 years ago as one of the founding leaders of the Gotei 13. As a Shinigami possessing immense spiritual energy, he displayed his power by effortlessly overcoming and slaying numerous Quincy warriors during their first invasion of Soul Society. Yhwach described Sakahone as infamous for being a brutal and cold-blooded killer, a reputation earned through the massacre of the Quincy from the Lichtreich when they initially attacked. His Zanpakuto appears in sealed form as a katana featuring a brown handle and scabbard, along with a golden tsuba shaped like a rounded rectangle with a small engraved circle at each corner. Neither his Shikai nor Bankai has been revealed. No voice actor has been assigned to this character yet.
