Summary
Mikage Sharaku serves as the martial arts instructor for Mairu and Kururi Orihara, earning their deep respect and recognition as her finest students. Described as a caring yet strict teacher with a tomboyish demeanor, she is a formidable fighter in peak physical condition, a result of rigorous martial arts training since childhood. Her history is deeply intertwined with Izaya Orihara, whom she attended high school with. During that time, she was one of his many followers, lending her combat skills to his schemes and developing unrequited romantic feelings for him. Her involvement eventually led her to take the fall for one of his plots, prompting her to drop out of school. She subsequently joined the Rakuei gym to pursue her career as a martial artist. Although she claims to Kine that her romantic affection for Izaya has faded, she admits to a lingering draw toward him, acknowledging that maintaining distance is difficult. Despite this complicated past, she remains one of Izaya’s most loyal allies through to the end of the series.
