Summary
Taroumaru Seike presents a low-key demeanor that mirrors his bored appearance, leading him to speak very little despite being a member of the Scavenger team. However, this quiet exterior hides a mischievous side, as evidenced by his playful gestures toward the operator of the Tarantula mecha, such as sticking out his tongue and yawning while halting the machine. Like the rest of the Scavenger, Seike carries out his duties of killing and destruction without remorse, eliminating anyone who obstructs him. He harbors a deep hatred for teachers, whom he views as the root of evil in the city. Seike possesses the ability to manipulate the coefficient of friction within a one-meter radius around himself, a power similar to Amime’s but operating on a significantly higher level. By setting the friction of air to its maximum, he creates an immovable barrier that even a 120-ton mecha cannot penetrate. Any kinetic energy from objects attempting to pass through this wall is converted into heat, causing items like bullets to melt upon impact. Seike claims that every material on Earth would melt before breaching this defense, though his ability can only be sustained for three minutes consecutively. He refers to himself using the masculine first-person pronoun ore, which serves as an indicator of his true gender.
