Summary
Uhin Zenjouji was the inaugural captain of the 12th Division, serving over a millennium ago as one of the founding leaders of the Gotei 13. As a Shinigami, he commanded immense spiritual energy, a power he displayed by effortlessly defeating and slaying numerous Quincy warriors during their first invasion of Soul Society. His combat prowess extended to formidable physical strength; he could simultaneously grab two opponents by the head with one hand each, then push, grind, and crush them together against his chest with minimal exertion. Yhwach described Zenjouji as an infamous, brutal, and cold-blooded killer, a reputation earned through his massacre of the Lichtreich Quincy forces upon their initial incursion into Soul Society. In his sealed form, his Zanpakuto appeared as a proportionally large katana featuring an orange handle and a golden tsuba designed like two elliptical petals set opposite the blade's edges. The names and effects of his Shikai and Bankai remain unrevealed.
