Summary
Sir Conrart Weller, also known as the Lion of Lütenberg, is a half-human, half-Mazoku swordsman revered as the finest in Shin Makoku. As the second son of the former Maoh Cecilie von Spitzweig and a human father, Dan Hiri Weller, he lacks maryoku due to his mixed heritage, though he possesses exceptional swordsmanship skills inherited from his lineage, which traces back to the ancestor Lawrence Weller. At sixteen, he chose to live as a Mazoku and survived the Battle of Lütenburg alongside Yozak, the only two survivors of that conflict. Tasked by Julia von Wincott, he protected the soul of the new Maoh, transporting it to Earth to be born as Yuuri. He is the inspiration behind Yuuri’s name, as July is called Yuuri in his homeland, earning him the title Nazukeoya, or Godfather, from Yuuri. Now appearing as a man in his twenties while actually ninety-six years old, he serves as Commander of Security and Yuuri’s personal bodyguard. Dressed in a 1914 German Infantry Uniform, he maintains a mild demeanor and an unassuming smile, though his jokes are notoriously poor. He typically addresses Yuuri as Heika, only dropping the formal title in emergencies or when reprimanded. Despite his name lacking the noble "von" prefix, he is respected by all, including Wolfram, Gwendal, and Suzanna Julia von Wincott, with whom he shares a close bond.
