Born on August 7, Kagerou Usui serves as the actual class president of 2-He, yet he is so thoroughly ignored that he practically vanishes into thin air. He only becomes visible to others when his baldness is exposed. His name is a pun on the phrase kage ga usui, which highlights both his lack of presence and his thinning hairline. In the anime adaptation, he harbors a major crush on Abiru but also leers at most female students, particularly Kaere, who naturally do not notice his existence.
