Summary
Eigetsu is a highly intelligent yet timid thirteen-year-old boy hailing from Seika Village in Koku Province. After successfully passing the Provincial Exams at age twelve, he traveled to the Capital to sit for the Imperial Exams, supported financially by the villagers who pooled their resources to wish him well. He currently resides with the Kou family, dedicating most of his earnings back to his hometown. When exposed to sake, Eigetsu’s demeanor shifts entirely as he transforms into a separate persona known as Yougetsu. Unlike the reserved Eigetsu, Yougetsu is a formidable and agile combatant.
