Summary
Ayumu Toujou serves as Kyubei’s devoted attendant, displaying a level of dedication that borders on obsession. He maintains an exceptionally polite demeanor, consistently utilizing -masu and -desu honorifics rather than the casual forms typical of male speech. Addressing his charge as waka, or young master, he has spent years meticulously documenting Kyubei’s daily activities in a personal diary. While Kyubei generally remains indifferent to this excessive attentiveness, she once kicked him after he suggested that gothic lolita fashion would suit her. Visually, Tojou’s eyes are typically closed, opening only during moments of surprise or emotional turmoil. When they do open, the sclera appears black while his pupils emit an eerie glow in shades of green, blue, or red. He harbors a specific quirk regarding his meals, obsessively beating raw, unbroken egg yolks into his rice; should the yolk break, he erupts into a berserk rage that starkly contrasts with his usual composed nature. His name is derived from Aya Tojou, a character in the manga Strawberry 100%.
