Her unique mental structure, stemming from her nature as a latent newtype, heavily influences her personality. She operates with a sense of entitlement, demanding what she desires and believing it is rightfully hers, regardless of social norms. Despite reminders about manners and respect, she often ignores them, with others tolerating her behavior largely because she is still a developing teenager. Her life becomes dominated by her intense, unrequited love for Amuro Ray, to whom she frequently displays her affection. Quess is acutely aware of her own beauty and attempts to manipulate those around her through her charms, becoming easily upset when her tactics fail.
