Summary
Luders Friegen is a male Arrancar who serves as a member of the Vandenreich. He is dressed in long white robes with a waist-length outer robe featuring a white hood, a black face mask, and epaulettes. A thin black sash runs from his left epaulette to the right side of his waist, and he wears white boots. His shoulder-length hair and eyebrows are dark on the right and white on the left, while his face bears circular marks above and below his eyes. Luders possesses an audacious temperament, showing no fear when declaring war on the Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13. He is condescending toward fellow Vandenreich member Asguiaro Ebern, mocking his impudence, yet remains completely submissive and respectful to the Vandenreich Leader. Two days before the attack on Soul Society, Luders inspected the infiltration route and warned that Soul Society’s balance of souls with the Human World was near collapse. During the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, Luders leads six masked Vandenreich members to Seireitei, where they interrupt a Shinigami messenger reporting to Captain-Commander Yamamoto, leaving him dead. After killing the messenger, Luders declares war on the Gotei 13. When Yamamoto claims he is the best security, Luders impales Lieutenant Sasakibe with a large arrow, telling him to praise the lieutenant for demonstrating his fate. He announces that after fighting and sacrificing everything, Soul Society will be destroyed by the Vandenreich in five days.
