Summary
Haruhiko Yagi serves as the manager of the Kamogawa Gym and is a contemporary of Miyata's father. While his primary responsibilities involve publicity and match booking, he is also deeply involved in financial management, merchandise sales, and occasionally assists with training. He is known for his kind and friendly demeanor, frequently adding the suffix ~kun to the names of the Kamogawa gym members. However, his personality shifts dramatically when fishing; as Miyata's father describes it, he adopts the face of a demon. His skill is so exceptional that it has been rumored he could become the World Champion of fishing. His prowess is such that many fishing ponds have erected "No Yagi Allowed" signs after he drove away customers by catching all the fish.
