Summary

Lancer serves as the Servant of Kayneth Archibald El-Melloi during the 4th Holy Grail War. Physically, he stands 184 cm tall and weighs 85 kg. His True Identity is Diarmuid Ua Duibhne. He was summoned by Kayneth, who originally intended to call upon the Rider-class Servant, Iskander. However, because his pupil Waver Velvet stole the catalyst Kayneth had prepared, the summoning resulted in Diarmuid appearing in the Rider slot instead. The contract between Lancer and Kayneth is unusual; while Kayneth retains the Command Spells, the energy required to sustain Lancer’s materialization is provided by Sola-Ui, Kayneth’s fiancée. Lancer possesses an even temperament and demonstrates absolute loyalty to his Master. He is characterized by his chivalry and strong sense of honor, traits that stand in sharp contrast to the arrogant nature of Kayneth. He shares a bond of mutual respect with the rival Servant Saber, holding the deep desire to engage her in fair combat.
