Summary
Once a Heavens-Blade wielder, a prestigious title reserved for the twelve most elite combatants of the Lance Shelled City of Grendan, Layfon transferred to the Academy City of Zuellni with the hope of leaving his violent past behind. As the main protagonist of the series, he is depicted in the novels as having tea-colored hair and blue eyes. He was not only one of the twelve Heaven Blades but also held the title of Wolfstein at the remarkably young age of ten. During his early childhood, Layfon and Leerin were discovered by Derek, who took them to the orphanage in Grendan. Because Derek could not earn enough money due to his retirement from the battlefront and his advanced age, Layfon decided to fight in matches to support himself, Leerin, and the other orphans. To generate even more funds for the orphanage, he began participating in illegal underground matches.
