Summary
Born in 1994, this silver-haired teen stands 180 cm tall and possesses type O blood. Adopted by the player in the video game, he is known as Souji Seta in the manga and Yuu Narukami in the anime. His bowl-cut hairstyle mirrors his personality: a distant yet friendly loner with a pessimistic worldview shaped by the instability of his parents’ careers. He relocates to the countryside to live with his uncle and cousin for a year, enrolling at Yasogami High School alongside Chie, Yosuke, and Yukiko in the same homeroom. His journey begins in the Velvet Room, where he meets Igor and Margaret inside a limousine traversing a thick fog, a space that shifts form for each visitor. His initial Persona, Izanagi of the Fool Arcana, dons a bancho-style coat and wields the Amenonuhoko spear, which resembles a combat knife. This evolves into Izanagi-no-Okami, the ultimate Persona of the World Arcana and the game’s most powerful entity. Yuu holds the unique wild card ability to swap Personas freely, though lacking the power of Death, he cannot perform Fusion spells like the Persona 3 protagonist. Within the narrative, his companions address him with titles like senpai, sensei, leader, partner, or big bro, rather than using standard pronouns. While his core design remained consistent from conception, his facial expressions and tone underwent significant changes.
