Summary
Tae Sekihara is the manager of the beef hot pot restaurant, Akabeko. Around 20 years old, she has a twin sister named Sae who manages a similar establishment called the Shirobeko in Kyoto. Sanosuke owes her a significant debt with accrued interest. In the anime, and to a lesser extent in the manga, she attempts to push Kenshin and Kaoru together, believing their relationship is not progressing well.
