Summary

A decade ago, Genma stole Ukyo’s father’s okonomiyaki yatai during a training trip, abandoning her and breaking their family arrangement. Although Ranma and Ukyo were childhood friends, he was unaware she was female. Humiliated by her peers, Ukyo rejected boys, lived as a boy, and mastered okonomiyaki-style martial arts. After a fierce battle revealed her true gender, she learned Ranma clashed with his fiancée, Akane. They reconciled, and Ukyo fell in love with him again. Ranma still views her merely as an old friend, and her schemes to win his heart are generally less violent than those of his other suitors. While she runs a restaurant called "Ucchan's" and loves cooking okonomiyaki, she would abandon it all to marry Ranma.
