Summary

Tatewaki Kuno is a wealthy upperclassman at Furinkan High who once held the title of most popular student before Ranma’s arrival. As the captain of the kendo club, he wields his sword and fortune with equal confidence. Known for reciting Shakespearean poetry, he is hopelessly devoted to Akane. He also becomes infatuated with Ranma’s female form, failing to recognize her as his rival. After overhearing her name, he tries to memorize it but never connects the dots, continuing to address her as a "goddess in pig-tails" throughout the series.
