Denim
Summary
Operating under Char Aznable, Denim led a reconnaissance mission alongside Slender and Gene to Side 7, tasked with surveilling an Earth Federation base transporting a new type of mobile suit. When Gene disobeyed orders and initiated an attack on the base, Denim was forced to support his actions. After Amuro Ray entered the RX-78-2 Gundam and critically damaged Gene’s Zaku, Denim ordered a retreat with Slender. However, Amuro destroyed the fleeing Zaku, an event that enraged Denim upon witnessing the rookie’s death. Enraged, Denim launched a final desperate charge at the Gundam. To prevent the incoming Zaku’s engine from exploding and causing catastrophic damage to Side 7, Amuro drove the Gundam’s Beam Saber through the cockpit, halting the machine and instantly incinerating Denim inside.
