Summary
Originally introduced in Final Fantasy VII, Red XIII is a young warrior and the last survivor of his tribe. He is first encountered by Cloud in Shinra HQ, where he was being held as a test subject by the scientist Hojo. Red XIII joins Cloud and the other party members for the entirety of the game, forming close bonds while uncovering the mysteries of his obscured past. He makes a brief cameo appearance in Final Fantasy Advent Children, assisting in the battle against Bahamut-SIN while Cait Sith rides on his back. Despite being fifty years old, his species has a long lifespan, making him roughly equivalent to an eighteen-year-old human. Red XIII possesses a deep, thoughtful nature and a sweet, innocent demeanor. He is constantly protective of those around him, demonstrating strong loyalty to both his friends and his hometown of Cosmo Canyon.
