Summary
Mina is a five-year-old youkai who is half mermaid and half vampire. Following an incident shortly after birth that claimed their parents, she and her twin sister Kana came under the guardianship of Shidou. Although they are twins, Mina’s physiology differs significantly from Kana’s; her blood is more akin to that of a mermaid, allowing her body to rapidly mature into the size of a teenager when submerged in water. This transformation is depicted in the anime with her developing a curvaceous figure, a feature Kana lacks. Personality-wise, Mina is defined by her brash demeanor and outspoken nature, and she habitually speaks using a Kansai dialect.
