Summary

Kageyama Tobio is a 15-year-old first-year student in class 3 at Karasuno High, wearing jersey number 9 as a setter. Standing 181.9 cm tall and weighing 66.3 kg, he was formerly a member of Kitagawa Daiichi Junior High. Born on December 22, 1996, his favorite meal is pork curry topped with a soft-boiled egg. Currently, he is concerned that animals seem to dislike him. Known as the "King of the Court," a derogatory nickname given by his former Kitagawa Daiichi teammates, Kageyama was viewed as an autocratic genius and prodigy by many in his prefecture. Initially struggling with autocratic tendencies, he joined Karasuno where he learned to control his frustration and express his emotions more appropriately. Beneath his stoic exterior, he is actually quite sensitive and childish. Under the guidance of his new teammates, he grew to respect his upperclassmen, particularly Sugawara and Asahi, and became more accepting of differing views and abilities. This transformation allowed him to rediscover the importance of teamwork and mutual trust, ultimately helping him regain his confidence as a setter.
